“CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE IN THE PRESS, AND EVERY LIBERAL SPEAKER IS DUMB.”

You could hardly say there has been a conspiracy of silence in the press nor is every liberal speaker dumb at the moment – the lib dems have sought a coaltion situation for the last 30 years – now they have it.
In NRW where neither of the traditional groups got enough to form a government. There is rumours that the FDP are having talks with the SPD and the Greens making a Green, Yellow, Red coalition a possibility and the FDP have nationally been a bit of a single issue party – cut taxes so that is going to be interesting.
NRW is important as they provide the swing in the upper house of the Federal system – losing that is bad news for Merkel.
It might just be the start of something good. The first thing was to get Labour out. The second is to get the country back on the road to recovery and the third is for Labour to regroup and get back to its roots.
