My friend Luke Pollard has been selected as Labour’s prospective Parliamentary candidate for South West Devon, standing against the Tory Gary Streeter. James – I’m from over the border in Somerset, near Yeovil. It’s pretty rural. The major employer in the area is AgustaWestland helicopters. There’s quite a lot of farming. It’s pretty in it’s own way, but not a rural idyll and, in any case, I’m a city person.
