I’m David. I’m originally from Somerset, but now live in Huntingdon with my wife and two cats.
I represent North East ward on Huntingdon Town Council. I’m elected as Labour and am a member of the Labour party and Co-operative party. My current committee assignments are the finance committee, finance working party, twinning sub-committee (of which I’m chair), leisure and community services sub-committee, planning committee (of which I’m chair), planning applications panel (of which I’m chair), and Ermine Street working group.
I work for the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism, I’m the chair of Hunts Shopmobility and secretary of the Coachmakers‘ charity committee. I do a livestream and podcast on Fridays at 0730 called Coffee, Buses and Politics.
Nothing on this website necessarily represents the views of those organisations or anyone else I’m associated with. This website is in my private capacity, and not as a councillor or anything else.
I tend to use my full name, so people don’t confuse me with David C. Cole, David D. Cole, David N. Cole, Dave Cole, another Dave Cole, David R. Cole, the late David Lawrence Cole, David Stein (aka David Cole), or any of the other David Coles out there.
